We are currently welcoming applications for our Iconography Residency.
While immersed in a beautiful Orthodox setting, this program is dedicated to teaching professional painting skills and classical art training, seeking to demystify the process of making a proper icon.
Our next full academic year of courses begins September 2024.
Iconography Masterclasses 7-10 days in length will also potentially be offered in the forthcoming months.
Length of Study:
The icon residency program length of study is 3 years.
Program Fees:
Cost for the 3 year residency program, including room and board, is:
$16,900 per year, for male students
$16,400 per year, for female students -
(cost reflects adjustment for off-campus housing available to female residents)

In addition to the initial submission form, each applicant must submit the following materials to ptahminsk@gmail.com :
+ 5-7 Photos of your artwork - does not need to be iconography
+ Resumé of previous Education and Work Experience
+ A 500 word or less ‘Personal Statement’ expressing your interest in the iconography program, as well as your intended goals
Once your application & materials are submitted, your work and submissions will be reviewed by faculty.
